Delivery and Returns Policy
UK Delivery
Standard tracked UK postage is £5.99 for all orders up to 1KG in weight, £6.99 from 1-2KG and £9.99 from 1-5KG. Orders that are in stock are typically dispatched within 1 or 2 working days, via the Royal Mail Tracked24 service. Items that are listed as ‘made to order’ or ‘pre-order’ can take up to 4 months to be made and shipped. Timings may be delayed due to high demand if ordering after the airing of the BBC 1 Make It at Market show Philippa Whiteside Ceramics stars in, first broadcasted on 6th March 2025. In this case, intermittent emails will be sent to update on an estimated despatch date and all efforts will be made to make and dispatch orders ahead of the 4 months listed time.
Orders over £150 will be upgraded to Royal Mail Special Delivery.
European Union (EU), including Northern Ireland (NI)
In accordance with the new, as of 13th December 2024, EU Regulation on General Product Safety 2023/988 (‘GPSR’) legislation, Philippa Whiteside Ceramics does not ship to the EU or NI. For products regulated by GPSR to be placed on the EU market, there must be an EU based responsible economic operator in place to ensure compliance tasks are fulfilled. Philippa Whiteside Ceramics is a Sole Trader and is not big enough to justify having an EU representative to comply with the new GPSR. As such, no products can be sold and shipped to the EU and NI.
International Delivery
All international orders are sent by the Royal Mail International Tracked Service. Philippa Whiteside Ceramics currently offers shipping to USA and Canada territories, please contact philippa.whiteside@gmail.com for enquires to ship elsewhere. Please note, TAX is not added to orders and, depending on the country, you may be required to pay import taxes/ custom charges on orders.
Packaging
All items are wrapped using a variety of recyclable materials to ensure safe shipping. Often packing materials are made from recycled materials. It is encouraged to re-use or recycle shipping and packaging materials. Philippa Whiteside Ceramics promotional materials are included with every order with a personalised ‘thank you’ note.
Returns
Please email philippa.whiteside@gmail.com prior to returning any item to arrange a replacement or refund. A withdrawal (or cancellation) form is available on request. You have the right to cancel your order, for any reason, within 14 days of receipt of your goods. A full refund will be given within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, minus the postage charged when ordering the item/s. Items must be returned in their original packaging and packaged appropriately to protect goods whilst in transit. Please retain proof of postage and return items via a trackable service.
Post and Packaging charges for returned items must be paid by the sender, postage refunds will only be issued if the item is deemed faulty. Refunds will be given on any faulty products within 3 months of purchase, subject to the item being returned in full. I regret that Philippa Whiteside Ceramics cannot refund postage costs on returned items unless they are faulty. Custom, made to order items are not eligible for return unless faulty.
